Louise Belderbos

Louise is a transactional lawyer with experience in all aspects of commercial property work and has acted for a wide range of clients.

Louise qualified in 1996 and in recent years has dealt predominantly with residential development work having been an in house lawyer for over 10 years with one of the largest commercial and residential developers/investors in the North West. Prior to being in house, Louise qualified and worked in the real estate department at DLA Piper LLP in Manchester for 13 years where she was an Associate and acted for clients in a broad range of sectors.

Louise’s experience includes dealing with the following:-

Investment acquisitions and disposals;
Option agreements and conditional contracts including complex planning and development issues;
Site assembly/division and infrastructure matters;
Collaboration between joint developers and related agreements and documentation;
Property finance work in relation to funding commercial and residential developments and investment properties;
Section 106 agreements in relation to residential developments;
Advising on post acquisition development matters, resolving title and practical issues and advising in relation to ongoing management and statutory rights.

Outside of work Louise plays netball in the Manchester Evening Netball league, enjoys running, swimming and tennis, as well as reading and ideally eating out! She also loves spending time with her family and her children, preferably on holiday or watching a good film, but which in reality mostly involves ferrying them to and from their numerous activities!
