Emma Collins

Emma is a transactional commercial property solicitor.

Emma enjoys assisting clients with all aspects of commercial property work including acquisitions and disposals, commercial lettings and other landlord and tenant work and development work.

Emma has advised clients across a breadth of sectors but has particular experience in the retail, student accommodation and renewable energy sectors as follows:

Acting for commercial landlords in connection with the ongoing management of a number of retail and hospitality venues across the UK.
Acting for developers on the acquisition, development and onward sale of various developments, but in particular student accommodation.
Dealing with options for project leases, often conditional upon planning permission, together with the securing of all necessary easements, particularly in the renewable energy sector. Emma has acted for both landowners (ranging from private landowners to government bodies) and developers in this capacity.

Emma undertook her training contract and qualified as a solicitor at Walker Morris LLP where she worked for 10 years. Emma is now based at the recently established Yorkshire office of Land Law LLP in Ilkley.

In her spare time Emma enjoys walking, yoga and socialising with family and friends.
